I

 Hiii

Today morning was a beautiful day. I woke up to a  Poetry written and read by my good friend at the annual Princeton Porchfest..She is the same friend who inspired me to write Anbe Sivam .

Her Poetry is about I am more...I don't wish to reproduce that here because that should be in her blog.

Her Poetry inspired me to pen down  the following. It's continuation of her Poetry in perspective to my thoughts . She concludes with 'I am abstract' and I start with this....

I am abstract...you cannot judge me

You cannot value me ...You cannot cage me

I escape all the human limitations and boundaries..

I am one with the Infinite, unthinkable..

I am just the pulsating 'LIFE'..

I am just the beating of the heart

Totally untouched by the defined..

I am the Universe...the stars ...the sun... the moon..

I am the unexpected...the abstract... the wholesome.

Thank you friend for inspiring me !

Just piece of cloth

Hii I am just a piece of cloth I am just a piece of cloth the comfort I give to the humans is unimaginable without me they would be nowhere I hide their modesty, I adorn each of their activity.. but I am just a piece of cloth The basis of a war like Mahabartha is just me I am just a piece of cloth When someone tried Vastraharanam of Draupadi the big war happened...but yet I am just a piece of cloth.. I give solace to the biting cold and the sweltering sun.. I am just a piece of cloth.. Men and women are judged of who they are based on the type of me.. I am the status symbol of the rich.. I am just a piece of cloth.. when things go wrong..it's told don't wash dirty linen in public.. there again I surface virtually... I am just a piece of cloth In marriages too.. I am the actual bride or the groom.. because everything revolves around me.. I am just a piece of cloth I am a women's friend too....when they celebrate, when they stress out.. and as they buy me afresh, I give sola...

Kolkatta and Jamshedpur Diaries

18/04/22 Ride from airport to Nizam Palace- touring officer’s hostel. Completely in contradiction to what I thought about Kolkata. The bridges and roads from the airport were all very neat and painted Blue and white. Honestly, I thought it would be dirty. Another surprise was full fledged service of old ambassador car all painted Yellow. First to visit was Ma Kali Mandir at Dakshineswar. She had her tongue out yet she looked very beautiful in her blue and golden zari saree and beautifully bejeweled. The temple architecture was quite different from what i had seen in the southern parts of India. It was painted light yellow and maroon red in the borders. From there we went to see Howrah bridge. This was an iron structure which encapsulated my imagination. I always wanted to walk on this bridge and it was truly fascinating with beautiful Hoogly river beneath. It was an exhilarating feeling. From there we boarded Heritage cruise for one and half hours from 6.00 P.M on the Hoogly riv...

Om Ganapathaye namah

Hiii I keep writing many of my thoughts, experiences etc but all at different locations, so thought of compiling it in the form of blog. Today being the first day of my blogging, for me by default, It has to start with my favorite deity, who is more like a friend to me.  The first temple of Ganesha I use to visit often was Pillayur kovil at K.K. Nagar , subsequently moved to Adyar and the signal Ganapathy at Adyar junction came in to my life . As I moved to Hyderabad, there again I cannot forget the cute Ganesha at a temple in Begumpet, Hyderabad. The idol was quite different and we could relate it to so well.  As I returned back in  Chennai, the Pilliar kovil at Indira nagar Adyar came to my rescue. I always felt the need for Ganesha temple around my place of stay.  My next move was to Mumbai, and there  the orange clad idol with cute black eyes of Siddhi Vinayak temple Prabhadevi Mumbai became my source of rejuvenation and this form of Ganesha came to my mind ...
